HR People + Strategy (HRPS) is the executive network for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves the executive segment of human resource professionals through events, networking, and relevant resources.
A major part of SHRM’s strategic plan is to engage the executive level of the HR profession. In this role, the incumbent will help shape and manage SHRM’s outreach to Chief Human Resource Officers (CHROs) through its executive network, HRPS. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual with superior interpersonal and relationship skills. The incumbent is expected to have superior diplomatic and facilitation ability and presence to interact with HR executives.
The role of Manager, Member Engagement is responsible for CHRO Circle member recruitment and engagement through content, virtual communities and small events. The CHRO Circle is the CHRO-only premium segment of our membership. This effort requires working closely with the Manager, Membership and Marketing and includes relationship building to enhance recruitment, engagement, and retention of executive members. This role will plan, administer, and oversee engagement opportunities for CHROs such as executive roundtables, summits, content development, networking and speaking opportunities. This role requires relationship cultivation and problem solving to help identify solutions for HR leaders through program/content development and partnering with other departments across SHRM, its affiliates, and external organizations.
