The Technology Analysis team is within SHRM's Technology Organization. Primary objective of the department is to document, review, analyze, evaluate, and support SHRM business needs and provide comprehensive business solutions enabled via technology. The team is responsible for ensuring that technical solutions support SHRM’s strategic initiatives.
The Senior Salesforce Administrator supports evolving priorities within the Customer Service, Sales and Operations teams in a hands-on role that facilitates automation, process improvement and enablement initiatives for customers and users. The Senior Administrator works closely with departmental leads and partners to administer the system within business requirements and creates systems that organize, scale and measure data effectively within our organization.
The Publishing & Media unit produces award-winning print and online content, information services and collateral that informs, educates, and engages the professional development and knowledge-base of members, as well as Human Resource and business professionals worldwide who follow and care about issues important to human capital management.
The Senior Digital Experience Designer is responsible for creating on-brand and user-first bold designs. The Senior Digital Experience Designer is highly skilled at creating modern web applications, can contribute to both frontend design and backend development, can help consult at all levels, and who continuously assess and grasps new technologies and programming languages. They must also possess expert understanding of digital best practices, user experience methodologies, and best practices in responsive web design.
The Educational Programs Department supports SHRM’s mission and strategic goals through the development and delivery of professional development programs to a global and domestic audience. This department is focused on building and sustaining educational partnerships with human resource professionals by providing curricular offerings to individuals and corporate members across professional experience levels, business sectors, and HR competencies. To enhance relationships with corporate clients, this department also provides discounts and opportunities for organizations to increase their total professional development value.
The Learning Management System Administrator contributes to the delivery of SHRM’s eLearning products and the online portion of SHRM Specialty Credentials. The SHRM eLearning product portfolio includes products that serve individuals and corporate clients. These self-paced and blended learning products help HR professionals develop their professional skills, knowledge, and competencies, in turn, supporting the advancement of the HR profession. In this capacity, the LMS Administrator serves as the primary administrator for the LMS set-up, customization and functionality, coordinates with internal and external partners on product set-up and roll-out, contributes to corporate eLearning sales by creating custom catalogs and learning plans, and is supporting the eLearning Help Desk. The LMS Administrator supports SHRM’s Manager of eLearning to meet product revenue targets by effectively managing the growing portfolio of products in the LMS, while serving our customers to ensure the highest level of customer support and satisfaction with SHRM Education products and programs. Additionally, the LMS Administrator is an important partner in supporting the corporate clients and B2B service delivery.
The SHRM Foundation is the philanthropic, 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate of SHRM. The SHRM Foundation inspires and empowers HR professionals to unlock human potential and lead social change in the workplace and beyond. Its purpose is to elevate and empower HR as a social force and its mission is to mobilize the power of HR and the generosity of donors to lead positive social change impacting work, workers and the workplace. The Engagement & Philanthropy department is responsible for generating revenue for SHRM Foundation programs and initiatives through fundraising and cultivating and stewarding meaningful partnerships. A large component of the department involves fostering the critical relationship with SHRM Chapters and State Councils, who are significant supporters and partners of the SHRM Foundation.
The Senior Specialist, Engagement and Philanthropy’s primary focus is to serve as a special liaison to SHRM Chapters and Councils. The role will determine and implement best practices in assisting Chapters and Councils in their fundraising activities. The Senior Specialist will contribute to the overall success of attaining SHRM Foundation’s revenue goals, leading Engagement and Philanthropy’s administrative functions and collaborating with SHRM Foundation team members to execute critical events and activities that engage donors and other development stakeholders.
The Senior Specialist will provide relationship management support and assistance to ensure timely responses to inquiries from Chapters and Councils and other internal and external partners. The Senior Specialist will ensure the optimization of SHRM Foundation’s processes, systems and infrastructure in order to successfully update and maintain various systems (Netsuite, Giving Reports, Batch Reports, Salesforce (to be implemented), etc.) to aid in tracking project deadlines, communications with SHRM and SHRM Foundation staff, chapters and councils, partners and donors and develop a manual of these processes and systems for the Engagement and Philanthropy department. The Senior Specialist also assists in prospect research and building a repository of potential donors for key programs and support activities associated with proposal development, grant management and reporting.
The Marketing Communication department is responsible for informing all of SHRM and SHRM Foundation’s audiences on programs, thought leadership, mission and activities in a positive, consistent and credible manner. The team encompasses Brand, Experience, Product Marketing, Membership Marketing and Integrated Content Marketing. The collective team engages in a variety of work related to managing SHRM/SHRM Foundation’s reputation and brand image as well as elevating the reputation to business leaders and policy makers on a broader, global scale. It is also responsible for publicly protecting and defending SHRM Foundation’s reputation and brand. Typically, this means strategizing and telling the SHRM Foundation’s stories and CTAs to key audiences and influencers.
The Foundation is committed to elevating and empowering HR as a social force through its innovative solutions to workplace inclusion challenges and through its programming designed to inspire and empower the next generation of HR leaders. It is the 501(c)(3) affiliate of SHRM, the voice of all things work. Under the direction of the Director of Integrated Marketing at SHRM, the SHRM Foundation Integrated Mareketing Manager tells the stories of SHRM Foundation as the leader in positive social change impacting all things work; manages SHRM Foundation’s PR and content strategy and implementation, and ensures collaboration and cohesion to the masterbrand storytelling of SHRM. This role will be the strategist for a wide variety of integrated communication campaigns. The role will change the world of work by engaging donors, influencers and audiences across global media, events and content platforms for both internal and external audiences.
The role will manage all strategic messaging throughout SHRM Foundation and lead the content creation campaigns and assets. S/he is responsible for positively impacting donor engagement and stakeholder experience by leading the delivery of consistent, transparent, and relevant campaigns. The role will measure the impact of these PR campaigns and individual pieces of content in collaboration with the fundraising and programmatic teams.

With core focus on promotion of products that drive member involvement and increase lifetime value, the Product Marketing Specialist will manage the strategy of educational product lines as well as the execution of multi-channel content to drive conversion to these products. Under the direction of the Director, Product & Enterprise Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist initiates, supports and manages the marketing strategy and is responsible for achieving key metrics, sales goals and demonstrating the ROI and effectiveness of the marketing campaign to the internal client/product owner.

The Communications Department is responsible for informing all of SHRM’s audiences on SHRM’s thought leadership, mission and activities in a positive, consistent and credible manner. It is also responsible for publicly protecting and defending SHRM’s reputation and brand. Typically, this means working directly with news organizations and journalists responsible for producing the news and features in mass media and utilizing social media to exchange information about SHRM directly with the press, key audiences and influencers. It encompasses Brand, Media Relations, Social Media Engagement and Corporate Communications. The collective team engages in a variety of work related to managing SHRM’s reputation and brand image among SHRM’s members as well as elevating the reputation to business leaders and policy makers on a broader, global scale.
Under the direction of the Director, Corporate Communications, the Public Relations Senior Specialist collaborates in telling the stories of a growing and innovative global professional society by participating in the day-to-day operation of the Media Affairs team. The Senior Specialist also contributes to public relations initiatives and supports the goals and business objectives of the association and the Public Affairs Department.
